100g brown sugar
25g caster sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 medium egg
125g plain flour
1 level teaspoon bread soda
150g chocolate chips
3 tablespoons Nutella chocolate spread
30g chopped hazelnuts
Very simply in a larg mixing bowl, combine the butter and both sugars until creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla and mix.
Fold in the flour, bread soda, chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts and mix to form a thick dough.
Divide the mix in half and place the first half in the bottom of the skillet.
Spoon over the chocolate spread.
Top with the remaining cookie dough and place in a preheated oven at 165C for 35-40 minutes.
Take care when removing it from the oven, dust with icing sugar and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
